TIE
Interceptor

Star Wars

We're big Star Wars fans and couldn't resist this theme. It's yet another masterpiece from our workshop where we bring imagination to life.

Materials and Building Process

The diorama consists of the broken pieces of a TIE figher-interceptor on the seashore. The pieces were printed on a 3D printer and painted. We used epoxy resin and applied dyes to add water thickness and depth. On its own, epoxy resin has a smooth surface so all the waves were created manually.

Details

Our sea surface is so real, it's unreal. The effects are mind-blowing. The splashes produced when waves crash against the broken interceptor chunks were created with natural cotton and Liquitex Professional Matte Fluid Medium glue. We used painted sand for the beach and a putty knife to add waves to the epoxy resin. Check out more details on our Youtube channel.
